Two Rivers Public Schools is accepting a donation to help provide students with mental health treatment.
The $2,500 donation from Grace Congregational United Church of Christ will be deposited into a new account in the district, offering students the opportunity to receive therapy through Phoenix Behavioral Health Services in Two Rivers at a reduced rate.
Superintendent Diane Johnson told the school board that the administration is working out the details for low-cost therapy, which could cost between $30 and $40 per hour session.
The funding goes toward the district’s Student Assistance Program.
