A crash involving a dump truck left two people injured in Plymouth yesterday (June 10th).
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash occurred at around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Road J.
Multiple 911 calls were received, noting a car and a dump truck were involved.
The initial investigation determined the car, being driven by an 84-year-old Elkhart Lake woman, was traveling north on 57, and collided with a southbound dump truck while trying to turn onto County Road J.
The woman was taken via Theda Star to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the dump truck driver was taken by Orange Cross Ambulance with minor injuries.
No additional details have been released at this time.
