A Sheboygan County cheese producer is helping area students pursue higher education.
Sartori Cheese out of Plymouth has awarded five students with $3,000 renewable scholarships to students from Plymouth and Antigo, including Ali Limberg, Ella Morrison, Mia Jo Schroepfer, Emma Adleman, and Avalyne Fischer.
Limberg will be attending Grand Canyon University in Arizona, Morrison will be a student at St. Norbert College, Schroepfer is set to attend Fox Valley Technical College, Adleman is enrolled at UW-River Falls, and Fischer is set to attend Loyola University-Chicago.
Each of these $3,000 scholarships will be renewable, meaning they will get them each school year, as long as they maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and either their parents or grandparents must still be employed by Sartori Cheese Company or in partnership as a family farm of Sartori Cheese Company.
This scholarship has been in place at Sartori since 1994, allowing the company to award over 100 scholarships to children or grandchildren of employees, team members, or family farm partners for more than three decades.
