A destination in the City of Plymouth will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony this month.
Nutt Hill Winter Park will host the ceremony on June 19th at noon on location.
The plan, as of now, is to have the hill open for tubing, skiing, and snowboarding in winter later this year.
The group Cheese Capital Winter Park invested heavily in Nutt Hill to revitalize and upgrade the property, including new “state-of-the-art” snow-making equipment, a conveyor system to bring patrons to the top of the hill, new buildings, and much more.
The hope is to make Nutt Hill Winter Park into a Sheboygan County destination during the colder months featuring approximately 550-feet tubing runs and top-of-the-line grooming equipment to ensure conditions are prime for skiers and snowboarders as well.
Nutt Ski Hill has not been used for organized winter recreation since February of 2014, but that will change this year after 11 years.
More information on the winter park and future updates on progress can be found by visiting the Nutt Hill Facebook page.
