The local gas prices are down for the third week in a row.
As reported on the AAA Gas Prices website, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of fuel is down nine cents since this time last week to $2.89.
This was the largest drop in the area, and is the least expensive Manitowoc County gas has been since early May.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County saw a drop off of seven cents to $2.91, while Calumet County’s four-cent dip leaves their average at $2.91 per gallon.
Outagamie County reported a three-cent decline to $2.88 per gallon, giving them the least expensive fuel in the area, while Brown County motorists are paying five cents less per gallon at the pump with an average of $2.89.
Kewaunee County is down four cents to $2.92, and Door County is down three cents to $2.98.
The state and national averages both fell two cents to $2.94 and $3.12 per gallon, respectively.
