Three conditional use permits (CUP) are set for discussion in the City of Sheboygan.
The City Plan Commission will meet today at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall and will open their meeting with public hearings regarding CUPs submitted by the Above and Beyond Children’s Museum, Turks and Timbers Bar and Grill, and Klunck Masonry.
Klunck Masonry is looking to add to its business at 1422 South 15th Street, while Turks and Timbers wish to add an outdoor seating area outside its Michigan Avenue location.
Above and Beyond’s CUP has been submitted with the desire to install a large mural on the side of the museum itself on 8th Street in Downtown Sheboygan.
The mural would be located on the building’s south side and be roughly 29 feet by 16 feet.
It would be the first part of an installation entitled The ABCs of Empathy, exploring mental health and well-being.
If approved, Persika Design Co. will install the mural from June 19th through the 25th.
