More road construction is on the way in Sheboygan County.
The Wisconsin DOT has announced a new project that will cause a temporary closure on State Highway 23 at County Road TT, beginning today (June 10th) at 9:00 a.m.
Crews will be repairing a beam guard along the eastbound lane of the highway.
The closure will also be in place tomorrow (June 11th) during the same time frame.
Other construction in the county continues to progress as well on State Highways 28 and 32.
On Highway 32, the process of replacing the bridge in Cascade continues to move forward as contractors have begun forming the bridge deck.
On 28, a closure is now in place at Wilson-Lima Road to allow crews to remove pavement, locate utilities, and excavate existing culverts that are being replaced.
As is the case with all DOT construction projects, the duration of closures and traffic impacts are weather-dependent and subject to change.
