The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is giving more people the chance to experience the museum in a quieter, more relaxed way.
A sensory-friendly evening takes place tomorrow (June 10th) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout the museum.
The free event includes full access to exhibits and a sensory-friendly submarine tour abord the USS Cobia.
Loud exhibit sounds will be lowered, and sensory backpacks will be available, featuring visual schedules, weighted lap blankets, social narratives, headphones, fidgets, and a communication book.
More information about the event can be found online at wisconsinmaritime.org/events.
