The Sturgeon Bay Police Department has identified the body that was found by the Michigan Street Bridge last week.
An autopsy was conducted on 23-year-old Aleksander Hill, which indicated that no foul play was involved.
However, the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office will be making the final determination on the cause and manner of death.
The initial investigation noted that Hill entered the water at around 11:30 p.m. on June 4th, as confirmed by video surveillance.
Anyone who was in the area of the Michigan Street Bridge and the Door County Maritime Museum around that time and has any information is encouraged to contact the Sturgeon Bay Police Department at 920-746-2450.
