A man was caught attempting to steal clothes from the Manitowoc Walmart.
The Manitowoc Police Department dispatched an officer to the store just before 3:30 Sunday afternoon to investigate the report.
The Loss Prevention team had apprehended the 33-year-old man, who had attempted to leave the store with a belt and some men’s wear.
When asked about the situation, the man told police he had recently lost his job and was “making bad decisions.”
A search of his vehicle also uncovered several items of drug paraphernalia, leading to charges of Retail Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Felony Bail Jumping.
