Lakeland University will have five more Hall of Famers later this year.
The university has announced that Corey Roberson, Matt Martin, MacArthur White, Joe Julkowski, and Chelsea Coenen will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame on October 18th as part of Homecoming weekend.
Roberson graduated in 2003 and was a standout football player on the defensive side of the ball. Martin and Julkowski were prominent figures in the volleyball program and were the 2008 National Intramural-Recreational Sports Administration Division I national champions.
White, also a member of the Muskies football program, graduated in 2008 as the school’s all-time leader in career receiving yards.
Coenen, a two-sport athlete at Lakeland, played basketball but rewrote the record book for the softball program.
She graduated in 2010 as the record holder for career doubles, triples, and runs batted in as well as single-season records for hits, doubles, triples, and RBI.
These five inductees will bring the Lakeland University Athletic Hall of Fame to 197 members.
