An event to build the relationship between law enforcement and children in Sheboygan is coming back next month.
The Sheboygan Department’s Cops and Bobbers event will take place on July 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This event will have police and kids from the community enjoying a day of fishing together, but fishing experience is not required to participate.
It is intended for those 7 to 13 years of age; however, parents are encouraged to stay and participate as well. Those who wish to bring their own rod and tackle are encouraged to do so, but gear will be provided to those who need it.
Anyone over the age of 16 at the event is required to have a valid Wisconsin fishing license as well.
Snacks and drinks will be provided, but a packed lunch is suggested.
Those interested in signing up are encouraged to do so quickly as space is limited.
