The Milwaukee Brewers have expanded their trading card program to numerous local law enforcement agencies.
The Manitowoc Police Department and Sheboygan Police Department are two of the 30 new law enforcement partners added to the program, which aims to connect officers and youth through a shared love of baseball.
Officers across the state will distribute Milwaukee Brewers trading cards with a comic book theme, featuring Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio, Sal Frelick, William Contreras, Joey Ortiz, and Brice Turang.
This program dates back decades but was put on hiatus before being brought back last season and continued this year due to overwhelming feedback from police officers and community members alike.
Participating agencies will each receive 1,000 Brewers trading card packs to distribute to the community.
Other police departments that are part of the latest expansion include Fond du Lac, Appleton, Oshkosh, and De Pere.
