Multiple people were injured, and property was damaged during a car accident in Plymouth.
The Plymouth Fire Department responded to the intersection of County Road O and Willow Road on Thursday (June 5th) on a report of a three-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, crews observed a large commercial vehicle that had struck two other automobiles and a building on the corner of the intersection.
One of those vehicles was a truck with an attached trailer that came to rest partially in the roadway, while the third vehicle was parked in a nearby residential driveway.
Crews then began assessing the severity of injuries to those involved as well as evaluating the structural integrity of the building after the truck crashed into it.
One individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment, while two others brought themselves to a medical center.
After the assessment of the structure, the Sheboygan County Technical Rescue Team was brought in to perform necessary shoring operations to stabilize the building. Once the building was deemed to be secure, the vehicles were removed safely.
At this time, no further details regarding the crash are available.
The Plymouth Fire Department was assisted in its response by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Orange Cross Ambulance, the Sheboygan County Highway Department, T3 Towing and Recovery, and B&D Auto.
