
One Manitowoc County girls soccer team knocked off another in a WIAA Regional Semifinal match last night.
Kiel cruised to an 8-0 win over Roncalli/Two Rivers 8-0 at Kiel High School. The home squad started strong, with Taavi Saeger netting the first of her 4 goals 11 seconds into the matchup.
Jasmine Bink found the back of the net twice, while freshmen Deanna Schwaller and Harper Walsdorf each scored one goal.
Kiel Coach Mike Pritchard praised the work of his defense, specifically senior captains Ava Niels and Addie Uselding, as well as goaltender Mya Langenfeld.
Kiel will next host Luxemburg-Casco in the regional finale tomorrow (June 7th), as the Spartans knocked off Waupun 2-1.
Roncalli/Two Rivers ends their season at 4-13.
