The Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team are regional champions.
The Ships knocked off Appleton East at Municipal Field 3-1 after an early pitching change.
Brayden Steinbecker got the start, but after one and a third innings, Bennet Johnson was subbed in and locked it down.
He would go 5 and 2/3 innings and allow just two hits while walking one and striking out another.
Steinbecker, meanwhile, helped out his reliever at shortstop, making several key defensive plays.
He also drove home the winning run on a two-run triple in the fourth.
The other Ships run came on a passed ball in the second.
With the win, the Ships advance to the sectional round of the WIAA Tournament, where they will play the 1-seeded Hartford Orioles.
That game will be played at E.J Schneider Field in Oshkosh on Tuesday, with a first pitch at 10:00 a.m.
