Governor Tony Evers has approved a large-scale bridge maintenance initiative along the I-94 corridor.
The project, contracted to Thunder Road, involves sealing bridge decks and pier columns in five counties: St. Croix, Dunn, Eau Claire, Trempealeau, and Jackson.
Construction work is set to begin this Sunday.
