Charges are now official for the Valders school bus driver accused of keeping child pornography on an online data storage site.
39-year-old Justin J. Zipperer was given a $5,000 cash bond by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa as he faces 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
The Department of Criminal Investigation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informed the Manitowoc Police Department in April that someone attempted to share a file from a Dropbox account, and Zipperer was arrested Tuesday (June 3rd) following a thorough investigation.
In total, the Dropbox site was said to contain 21 videos depicting child sexual assault material, and multiple other electronic devices were seized from the 39-year-old’s former place of employment as part of a search warrant executed.
As a part of his bond, Zipperer was ordered to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18 and to not possess any internet-enabled devices.
Zipperer has since posted his bond and is due for his initial appearance on June 9th in Branch 4.
Through the investigation, police learned that Zipperer is a school bus driver in the Valders School District and are now asking any potential victims or those with knowledge of his actions to step forward by contacting Detective Jason Denk at 920-686-6557 or Crime Stoppers at 920-683-4466 to remain anonymous.
