A man convicted in a 2019 child sex case is set to be released.
Eric J. Fisher was found guilty due to no contest pleas on charges of Using a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime, and two counts each of Exposing a Child to Harmful Material, and Soliciting Intimate Representation from a Minor, and was sentenced by Judge Robert Dewane in 2020.
The Manitowoc Police Department is informing the public that Fisher is set to be released from prison on June 13th and will be residing in the 1100 block of South 19th Street.
As a part of his sentence, Fisher is ordered to be registered with the Sex Offender Registration Program and GPS Tracking for life.
The Manitowoc Police Department notes that Fisher is not wanted at this time, as he has served his sentence as imposed by the courts, and stated, “Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered sex offenders will NOT be tolerated.”
The Department releases sex offender residency information not to increase fear, but rather to ensure the public is as informed as possible.
