There’s a new state director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development in Wisconsin.
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced that Andrew Iverson has been appointed by President Donald Trump to serve.
According to Rollins, Iverson “will implement President Trump’s America First agenda at USDA Rural Development, ensuring the needs of America’s farmers, ranchers, and producers remain a top priority.”
Iverson said, “I am honored and grateful to be able to lead in an agency that is committed to providing the agricultural and rural development that Wisconsin needs and deserves.”
He previously served as the Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin and previously held positions with the Republican National Committee, Senator Ron Johnson, Representative Bryan Steil and others.
