A drug dealer from Fond du Lac County will be going to prison for his role in an overdose death.
Court records show that 43-year-old Jeremey Stoll was present in court for a sentencing hearing on Monday (June 2nd) after being convicted of being a party to First-Degree Reckless Homicide in February.
At Monday’s hearing, Stoll was sentenced to spend nine years in prison followed by 15 years on extended supervision with more than 900 days credited for time already served.
FOX11 reports that the 43-year-old sold heroin to Russell Barton in June 2022, which was laced with fentanyl.
Barton was later found unconscious by his father and was pronounced dead by authorities with signs of a fatal overdose near his body.
An autopsy confirmed Barton had cocaine, meth, and fentanyl in his system, amongst other drugs, at the time of his passing.
After his prison sentence, Stoll has been ordered to maintain absolute sobriety, he is not to enter any bars or taverns, and he must maintain full-time employment, education, or treatment.
