A Brillion man is going to prison after trying to use a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.
44-year-old Jesse Pool was sentenced in Calumet County Court yesterday (June 3rd) to spend 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision after he pleaded no contest to the one charge.
Three other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
NBC 26 reports that Pool spent days sending nude videos to a girl on social media who he believed was 13 years old.
It was actually an online personality that Pool was talking to.
After being asked to meet the person at Walmart in Green Bay, the personality said that Pool initially claimed he was “just shopping,” but eventually admitted why he was really there.
He’s required to submit a sample of his DNA, must undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation, and can’t use the internet or internet-enabled device unless permitted by a probation agent.
