A man was arrested in Manitowoc early Monday morning (June 2nd) after threatening to attack and kill an individual.
Officers were dispatched to speak with the victim at 11:15 p.m., who noted that they were in Milwaukee on Sunday, when the 27-year-old man became upset that they were with another individual.
Then, after a day with no interaction, the man allegedly began threatening to kill them over the phone. While officers were speaking with the victim, the suspect called them 20 times in 30 minutes.
The victim answered one of the calls, and the officers heard him threaten to break in their window and “bash” them in the face when he got there from Milwaukee.
Officers swarmed his vehicle upon arrival and quickly placed him in handcuffs.
The man was said to be yelling and wouldn’t let the officers speak.
He was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Use of Computerized Communications Systems.
