The Kiel Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding some people who tried to break into cars.
Police were called to the Rockville subdivision yesterday morning (June 2nd) around 1:15 a.m. for the attempted vehicle entry.
Since then, they’ve received several more reports of the same thing.
It’s unclear how many vehicles have been affected, but it appears the suspects are checking for unlocked cars.
Kiel Police have not been able to identify three suspects seen in a Ring camera video, but ask residents to check their home surveillance from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. yesterday to try and find out who they are.
The video of the suspects can be found on the department’s Facebook page.
Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 920-894-2211 ext. 1.
The Kiel Police Department finishes by saying that while an incident like this happens, it’s always a good reminder to make sure your vehicles are locked and don’t leave valuables inside.
