A trail reconstruction project in Brown County has completed its first phase.
The Brown County Parks Department announced that part 1 to resurface the Fox River State Trail from Heritage Road or County Road X north to the Porlier Pier has been completed.
Phase two includes redoing Porlier Pier in the City of Green Bay to Marine Street in Allouez and Lazarre Avenue in Allouez to Fox Point Beach Landing in De Pere.
Other portions of the trail will remain open during construction, but riders will be detoured.
Phase three of the project is scheduled to take place at the end of June and be finished by July 3rd.
