Felician Village wants to help veterans learn about Old Glory Honor Flight.
The senior living facility is hosting an information session with Dan Reinke tomorrow (June 4th) at 11:00 a.m. in the Village Hall.
Vietnam and Korean era veterans are encouraged to attend, however, only vets who served before May 7th, 1975, are eligible to fly to Washington D.C. A free lunch will also be provided for those who attend.
Those interested need to RSVP to Tanya at Felician Village at 920-684-7171, ext. 402. Old Glory Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization dedicated to their mission of “Honoring Local Veterans One Mission at a Time.”
It allows veterans to be flown to D.C. to see the war memorials that honor those who served.
