The Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore will soon be offering vouchers for seniors to enjoy the local farmers markets.
Beginning June 9th, those 60 and older who meet the qualifying criteria can pick up $25 worth of vouchers, which can be used to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables at local markets.
The vouchers come from the USDA through a grant, and can be collected at the ADRC headquarters on Michigan Avenue in Manitowoc, the Two Rivers Senior Center, the Kiel Community Center, or the Manitowoc Human Services Office.
