The Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team saw its regular season campaign come to an end in anti-climactic fashion.
The Ships and the Galloping Ghosts would only make it four innings before the ballgame on Friday (May 30th) was suspended, finishing even at 0-0.
Before the game was suspended, Cade Grapentine and Gabe Eichmann led the offense with each collecting a hit apiece.
Bennett Johnson would go all four innings on the mound for the Ships, where he allowed four hits and no runs with one strikeout and no walks.
This marks the last game of the regular season for Lincoln, and the remainder of the game will not be made up.
The Ships begin WIAA regional play tomorrow when they take on the Oshkosh North Spartans at home at Municipal Field.
