Visit Manitowoc has launched a new postcard initiative.
Three different postcards are now available at the Visitor Center located at 824 South 8th Street, featuring a beach scene with Manitowoc’s coordinates, one with “Greetings from Manitowoc” and an assortment of attractions, and a graphic image of the state of Wisconsin with colorful icons in it.
The idea came from a citizen who sent a postcard to staff using a similar program in a different destination.
Postcards have also been a top request of visitors stopping into the visitor center.
Visit Manitowoc views this initiative as a fun way for visitors to encourage their family and friends to make a trip here as well.
Director of Tourism Courtney Hansen tells SeehaferNews.com, “It’s already been fun to see the smiles on peoples’ faces when they learn about this program. They are both surprised and delighted that we’re offering this way to share the love of Manitowoc, completely free of cost to them.”
