Two local college students have punched their tickets to the national SkillsUSA Championships.
Autumn Robley and Johnathon DeBruin are pursuing degrees at Lakeshore College, and will be in Atlanta June 23rd through the 27th for the national conference.
Robley brought home gold in the Precision Machining Technology competition at the SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills state conference, while DeBruin led in the CNC 2-Axis Turning Specialist competition.
SkillsUSA is a national organization empowering students for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations through competitions and educational programs.
SkillsUSA Championships allow students to demonstrate their expertise to industry professionals at the national level.
