Manitowoc Lutheran will be well represented at The WIAA State Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday in La Crosse.
Head Coach Abby Bubolz told seehafernews.com that the following athletes are headed to state following competition at a Division Three sectional meet in Marathon on Friday.
Gabriel Stuebs in the 400-meter dash, Jacob Kanzenbach in the 800-meter run, Trenton Schuettpelz in the Triple Jump, and Issac Wagner in the Long Jump.
Also qualifying for The Lancers are Bitsy Blauert in the girl’s Long Jump and the four-by-400-meter relay team of Stevie Brunner, Lilly Melhorn, Ava Steubs, and Addie Korte, along with alternates Makiah Krause and Maddie Keil.
Manitowoc Lincoln senior Tessa Campbell qualified for state by winning sectional titles in both the 200- and 400-meter dashes at a Division One sectional in Neenah.
The WIAA is determining extra qualifiers, and the full field is expected to be released this weekend.
