A woman who caused a bomb scare in Oshkosh is getting probation.
WBAY reports that 66-year-old Pauline Beyer pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of obstructing an officer and misuse of a telephone.
Judge Bryan Keberlein sentenced her to 14-15 months of probation, saying it was appropriate since no other issues were reported since she was arrested.
In a previous report, Beyer threatened to blow up a synagogue because she was trying to get attention from the FBI because she was being held hostage by police, according to a criminal complaint.
A religious leader to a call from Beyer who said she would blow up the synagogue after asking if she was calling a religious establishment.
Although a bomb scare is a felony, Beyer had no prior criminal record and was getting mental health treatment, so charges were dropped to misdemeanors.
