The top candidate to be the next City Manager of Two Rivers has been selected, however, there is still more work to be done.
The City Manager Selection Committee held one hour interviews with Scott Feldt, Nathan Thiel, Kyle Kornell, and Sam Demel today, which came to an end at around 7:00 Friday night.
In a closed session, the group agreed to allow consulting group Public Administration Associates to begin negotiations with the individual, whose name has not yet been made public.
The committee took into consideration consideration the feedback received from the community tour, the community meet and greet, meetings with department heads, a written exam, and intelligence testing.
The council is slated to meet on Monday, with time set aside to officially present the offer to the top candidate, but City Manager Greg Buckley says it could take a bit longer than that to officially announce the next City Manager.
