A man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Madison on Thursday evening.
The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Northport Drive.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
In a separate incident Friday morning, a cyclist was injured after colliding with a car near Waunona Way and Hoboken Road.
According to police, a driver was inching forward around construction equipment to check for oncoming traffic when the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
