No one was hurt following a fire at the Neenah Foundry.
WFRV reports that Neenah-Menasha Firefighters were called after 8:30 p.m. yesterday (May 29th) and later requested a Mutual Aid Box Alarm System or MABAS.
The fire was found on a higher level of the building, which made it tough to fight, but it was eventually put out.
The plant was in full operation at the time of the fire, but all workers were able to make it out of the building safely.
Other parts of the foundry that weren’t affected by the fire will continue to operate.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
