
The Mishicot baseball team was able to hold off a potential comeback attempt as they took down Southern Door 4-2 in their Regional Quarterfinal matchup.
The Indians used a 3-run 4th inning to accumulate a 4-0 lead, but the Eagles would bring home a run in the 5th and 6th innings to keep it close.
Indian Pitcher Nolan Sand locked in down the stretch and kept the Eagles off the board to secure the full game win.
Christian Henning led the way for the Indians at the plate, with a 2 RBI performance, with the other runs coming off the bats of Quinn Sand and Eli Skarda.
Mishicot, the #9 seed in their bracket, will now travel to Chilton next Tuesday to take on the top-seeded Tigers.
