The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has released more information regarding a pursuit that went through the Fond du Lac County Airport last Monday (May 19th).
The video of the pursuit was released to highlight the collaborative efforts local law enforcement deployed to bring two subjects, now known as Chaz Young and Alonso Tinoco, into custody.
A firearm was recovered from the vehicle after a search by a police K9.
Through the investigation, Fond du Lac County sheriff’s deputies allege that the suspects were contemplating shooting at them in an attempt to get police vehicles to back off.
This was also the third pursuit the vehicle was involved in since early May.
Young and Tinoco allegedly fled from police after exiting on I-41 and entering Highway 151.
After the tire deflation devices were used, the suspects entered the taxiway of the Fond du Lac County Airport in an attempt to escape the police.
A PIT maneuver was used before the vehicle was able to return to I-41 to end the pursuit.
Young, Tinoco, and a female passenger were arrested and face multiple charges.
