The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is calling on residents to help track bat populations during this year’s “Great Wisconsin Bat Count.”
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in two upcoming observation periods: June 6–8 and July 18–20.
The counts help estimate the number of young bats that have started flying, offering vital data for conservation efforts.
