Greg Buckley announced earlier this year that he will be stepping down from the position this August after nearly 30 years leading the Cool City.
Sam Demel, Scot Feldt, Kyle Kordell, and Nathan Thiel will be taking tours of the city ahead of a highly anticipated meet and greet this evening.
Buckly told SeehaferNews.com that the event will be held at 6:00 in the gym at the J.E. Hamilton Community House.
“Members of the public are encouraged to come in and meet with the four candidates,” he said. “They will each introduce themselves and then will rotate among four groups that attendees will be divided into.”
After meeting the finalists, residents will have the opportunity to give their opinions to the group designated to make the selection.
Then, tomorrow will be a big day for
“On Friday, the candidates will be engaged all day with activities that in the morning include some written testing, a writing exercise, meetings with the various city department heads,” Buckley explained. “Then in the afternoon, interviews with the city council.”
A top candidate will be selected by the end of the day, after which, the council and representatives from Public Administration Associates will work on making an offer to the next Two Rivers City Manager.
