Two suspects have been identified after purposely throwing fishing equipment in the water in Menasha.
The Menasha Police Department said the equipment belonged to three local young anglers who were enjoying a night of fishing.
Over $1,000 in rods, tackle boxes, and tools were thrown into the Menasha Locks, with the suspects not uttering a word.
Menasha Police Officers say the anglers worked hard and saved money to buy the equipment, only to have it stolen in a couple of seconds.
The suspects, now known only as “Hoodie Guy” and “Glasses,” have been identified by the Menasha Police as they continue to investigate the case.
They thanked the public for their help in finding the two.
Police also received assistance from Fox Cross Police, who provided surveillance footage of the suspects.
