The Sheboygan Theater Company has received a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board.
The Creative Communities Grant will help the local theatre troupe fund a comprehensive arts education workshop series launching with a kick-off week in July, followed by monthly workshops throughout the theatre year.
The Wisconsin Art Board gives out this grant to encourage arts education, cultural understanding, and community arts development in Wisconsin.
STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts called it an “honor to receive this recognition and support”, noting that it will help the group “reignite our educational mission and provide even more opportunities for our community to engage with the arts.”
