A bridge in Kiel will be inspected soon.
The Kiel City Council voted to approve the consideration of a $3,450 quote for an underwater bridge inspection and conditioning of the Highway 32 bridge over the Sheboygan River in Kiel.
The inspection is part of the requirements of the National Bridge Inspection Standards.
Ayres Associates has been tasked with reviewing previous inspections before completing underwater inspections and sounding around each substructure in the water.
The inspections are expected to be completed within the next two months.
