
A Fond du Lac man is dead after his SUV struck a dump truck.
WBAY TV reports that the Fond du Lac County Communications Center was informed of the crash at around 2:10 Tuesday afternoon (May 27th) and dispatched police and EMS to the intersection of County Highways B and K in the Town of Eden.
The initial investigation indicated an SUV was traveling east on Highway B when it turned in front of a dump truck going the other way.
The SUV, which was being driven by a 79-year-old Fond du Lac man, came to rest in the north ditch, while the dump truck hit an eastbound cement truck and came to rest in the south ditch.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, while the dump truck driver was treated for minor injuries, and the cement truck driver was uninjured.
The driver of the dump truck is said to be cooperating with the investigation.
The crash is still under investigation, and names will be released after the family is notified.
