An electronics recycling event takes place in Calumet County today (May 28th).
Calumet County residents can go to the Chilton City Garage behind the Kwik Trip on S. Maple Street from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No registration is required, but residents will only be allowed to drop off unwanted electronics on a first-come, first-served basis.
The City of Chilton explains that some items accepted will include window-mount air conditioners, car batteries, computers, dehumidifiers, televisions, and more.
Items like monitors, TVs, and microwaves will be accepted, but at a cost.
