A standout athlete at Manitowoc Lincoln has broken a school record.
The Ships girls soccer team took down Sevastopol 10-0 at Ron Rubick Field last night in a gam that was highlighted by Sarah Bolchen breaking the school’s single-season scoring record.
Bolchen found the back of the net for the 21st time, breaking the record set by Lindsey Aceret in 2006.
Coach Ethan Jones called it a “great match” as multiple Shipbuilders tickled the twine, and the team secured the first winning season in the program’s history.
The win improved Lincoln to 9-7-2 overall, as they get ready to travel to Oshkosh West on Thursday before closing out the regular season at Sheboygan South the next day.
