A woman has been arrested after allegedly “ticket switching” numerous items at the Manitowoc Walmart.
An officer was called to the store on Calumet Avenue last Wednesday to investigate the claim.
The loss prevention employee stated that the woman had nineteen separate transactions in the past month, where she would scan a different barcode that was required for an item.
In total, it was estimated that the 38-year-old woman had stolen over $500 in merchandise ranging from toys to tools and dog food.
The woman has since been arrested on a single charge of Felony Retail Theft.
