Local nonprofits were the big winners in a recent round of funding handed out by Froedtert Holy Family Memorial.
The hospital has shared that The Haven, The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County, Lakeshore CAP, Grow It Forward, and the Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center (NEWAHEC) are the recipients of their Community Grant Program.
This program prioritizes projects and organizations that improve the overall health and well-being of Manitowoc County and its residents.
Those who apply for the program are eligible to receive up to $25,000 in funding.
Each applicant is reviewed yearly by the Community Grant Program Committee, which is made up of leaders in the community and the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network.
