Four Mexican nationals have been federally charged in a cocaine distribution conspiracy in Green Bay.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin has announced that 50-year-old Ruben Espinoza, 20-year-old Pablo Navarro, 20-year-old Pedro Navarro, and 27-year-old Sanjuana Ochoa have all been charged with Conspiracy to Distribute over 5 Kilograms of Cocaine.
Additionally, Espinoza and both of the Navarros received a Possession with Intent to Distribute over 5 Kilograms of Cocaine charge, while Ochoa was also charged with Conspiracy to Distribute over 50 grams of Methamphetamine.
Court records show that on April 22nd, DEA agents seized 30 kilos of cocaine from vehicles in Green Bay, which were occupied by the four individuals.
It is further alleged that the suspects were expected to receive nearly half a million dollars in exchange for the cocaine.
It has been indicated that all four of the individuals entered the country illegally and that Espinoza was previously deported from the U.S. to Mexico.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Green Bay Resident Office with assistance from the Brown County Drug Task Force, and the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group Drug Unit among other agencies.
