Two nationally renowned stunt motorcycle riders are coming home to put on a show and deliver a message.
Twins Shannon and Sawyer Schmidtman were born and raised in Valders and have since grown into the world-renowned group known as Twinstunts.
They will be making their grand return to Valders by putting on a show this coming Wednesday (May 28th) at Valders Middle School, with a powerful message for the next generation: Helmet safety saves lives.
The twins will walk students through real-world statistics, demonstrate proper helmet fit, and emphasize how helmets can reduce the risk of head injury by as much as 85%.
Shannon noted in the announcement, “We might live on the edge, but we never gamble with safety. It’s the foundation of everything we do.”
Sawyer said of the show, “it means the world to come back not just to entertain, but to help protect the kids growing up in the same town we did. We want them to be smart, stay safe, and wear their helmets – every ride, every time.”
Fans can also watch the team perform live at Road America Road Course in Historic Elkhart Lake during the annual MotoAmerica Superbike events, May 30th through June 1st.
