Sheboygan’s Downtown farmers market is nearing its return with some new additions.
The Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization (SCIO) has announced that the bi-weekly farmers market at Fountain Park will kick off on Wednesday, June 4th, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
It will run every Wednesday and Saturday during the same hours until October 29th.
New this year will be the addition of food trucks that will be set up on the block of 8th Street between Erie Avenue and Ontario Avenue.
Adding food trucks to one of the most beloved activities in Sheboygan during the summer months is part of SCIO’s commitment to enhance the market’s ADA customer access.
To that point, parking has been streamlined on Saturdays with all public street and lot parking being made free of charge in the downtown area, with extra space in the Sheboygan County Health and Human Services parking lot, which includes handicapped parking as well.
SCIO Farmers Market is a producer-only market that features verified vendors from the area offering fruits, vegetables, crafts, and more.
